The Process of Getting Dentures at Our Dental Practice
Here is an overview of the general process:
Initial Consultation: This involves thoroughly examining your teeth, gums, and jaw. Our dentist will evaluate your oral health and determine if dentures are the best solution.
Dental Impressions: If dentures are recommended, we will take dental impressions of your mouth to create a mold of your teeth and gums. This mold will make a custom-fitted denture tailored to your unique needs.
Wax Try-In: A wax try-in is a mock-up of the denture that lets you see how the final product looks and feels. During this stage, adjustments can be made to ensure the denture fits comfortably and looks natural.
Final Fitting: Once the denture has been created, you'll return to our office for a final fitting. We will adjust the denture to ensure a comfortable fit and proper bite.
After the denture has been fitted, you'll need to schedule follow-up appointments with our dentist to ensure that the denture is functioning correctly and to address any issues.
