Denture Installation Process

Before beginning the procedure, we must examine your gums to ensure no gum disease is present. Treatment will be given if required. X-raying your jawbone after that is necessary to determine its density and confirm it can support the implants as they are shorter than usual. An impression of your mouth, with measurements taken, will then be sent to the lab to have a new set of false teeth made according to our specifications.

You'll return to our St Helena, CA dental office when it's time for your implant procedure. We'll start by numbing your gums and providing anesthesia. Then, four small implants will be placed just under your gum line to anchor the new set of teeth. Once the implants are secure, we can click on your dentures.

The Benefits of Implant-Supported Dentures

Look no further if you need a long-lasting, comfy substitute for lost teeth. Our implant-supported dentures make it easier to enjoy your favorite meals and stay active. You don't have to worry about them coming loose or slipping out of place during eating, talking, or doing high-impact activities - they'll remain securely in your mouth. This means you can stop stressing over embarrassing situations and experience more comfort since your dentures won't create friction with your gums.

Implants offer an advantage over relying on dentures that stay put or adhesive to keep them in place since there's no risk of them falling out when participating in physical activities or enjoying certain foods.
